(More customer reviews)If you live in an area where a disaster could strike and the power could go out for a while, you NEED one of these to keep your cellphone and laptop charged up, at the very least. I wish I had gotten one BEFORE Hurricane Katrina. As a first responder I stayed in New Orleans the whole time and it was 4 weeks before we got electricity back in the French Quarter. Having this inverter would have made the whole ordeal go a lot more smoothly. I could have kept all of our emergency communications equipment charged up and running just by tapping into the cigarette lighter.
