+ Good construction
+ Antimicrobial treated to kill bacteria that can grow in the filter
+ Excellent fit with foam around the outside edges to ensure a better seal
+ Fit as well as the original equipment filter

CONS:
- Absolutely none - I wished I'd know what a difference a new cabin filter would make on the previous cars I've had
I had my 2008 VW Passat 2.0T for one year when I read an article about replacing the cabin air filter. I'd never given it a thought before but with my allergies and asthma it sounded like a good idea. I did several days or research on the Internet and finally decided to give the WIX a try. Man, am I glad I did. First, Amazon had the package to me in just a few days (regular shipping). The Passat has the cabin filter underneath a panel behind the glove box so you nearly have to stand on your head to access the filter cover. Once I pulled out the old filter, I was absolutely suprised at the amount of material that dropped onto the passenger floor - dirt, leaves, and other nasty stuff. I don't drive my car much (about 6000 miles/year and I live in the city and I was shocked how much junk is pulled in by the climate control system. I installed the WIX, sealed up the system, and headed out to do some errands. Within half a mile, I noticed the air from the A/C vents smelled significantly fresher. Since then I've noticed I've had less dust in the cabin too. While VW suggests changing this once a year when having the car serviced, I'm going to begin chaning it once every 6-months due to the poor air quality in Dallas and also as a result of seeing all the junk that filter stops! WIX is the best!
