(More customer reviews)I haven't used mine yet as I just got my AirHog filter.I had never heard of this filter but it was far cheaper then a K&N yet looks the SAME other then the color of Orange instead of Red. I've Cleaned a few K&N filters in the past with the K&N cleaner/Oil Kit.This is the same thing.The whole cleaning process can take a long time.You have to remove the dirty filter,Then Spray the Cleaner all around the filter.Then you have to let it sit there for like 15 minutes.Then you have to rinse it out backwards.Since dirt goes in from the outside in, you want to wash out inside out, as to not force the dirt into the filter deeper.After it's all clean, you might have to do it a second time if it's really dirty.After that, it's all wet.Well you now have to let it Air Dry ALL THE WAY.This can take quite some time depending on the Temp!!!You don't want to blow pressurized Air though it to speed up the process, you can screw up the filter doing that, and it can't be wet, not even a little bit!!!After it's fully dry, then it needs to be oiled!If you don't oil it, it will NOT filter very good!!!So it's Important that it's done.You need to spay just enough to get it wet and then let it soak in for like 15 minutes, then check and make sure you didn't miss anyplace.You can tell by the color change!!!You don't want oil ruining down out of the filter.If you put to much oil into the filter, it can end up being sucked up into the engine, which in the process put oil all over your Mass Air Flow Sensor that's in the Intake Tube. This can screw up your Engine as your engine could get false readings.So do the job RIGHT!!!
